Check Out One Direction’s Awesome Anti-Bullying Video Interviews!

Girlies, One Direction has a new anti-bullying campaign with Office Depot that we think is pretty great. As part of the partnership, the band recently released a series of interviews featuring each member talking about bullying. In the short but sweet clips, Harry, Zayn, Liam, Niall and Louis talk about and give advice for dealing with hate, both online and off, and why schools should be focusing more attention on efforts to end bullying.

“I think in a way bullying might be easier with the likes of social networking,” said Louis. “You will get some kids that get bullied that are a bit more feisty and brave and they can stand up for themselves, whereas other people are quite timid and are less confident.”

“So many of the people being bullied are scared to say that they’re being bullied,” Harry said. “It’s just important that people talk about it, because it is a problem.”

We’re applauding 1D for speaking out on such an important topic! Check out the videos below:

Plus, here’s a sneak peak at the band’s upcoming new single, “Best Song Ever.” It’s pretty cute!

    Team Project Inspired
We here at Project Inspired want to guide and inspire teen girls to be true to themselves and to God. We want to show young girls how to be people of value and confidence – how to be your own best selves – through leading a Christian life. Who are we? We're a team of girls, like you. We edit the site, we post to social media, we hang out in the chat rooms and forums. We talk with you, we listen to you, and we love you!

    1. These guys are my favorite pop band and it’s so awesome to see them supporting a cause that is worth supporting. So often you see them goofing off and it’s really sweet to see them standing up for people being bullied.

    2. I do admit that I am not a huge fan of One Direction, but I have to say that it is amazing that they are doing this! It’s funny how if a normal group of teens do such a thing, they may not get their voice heard, but if a group of celebrities do it, lots more people know about how much bullying can hurt! Such an awesome thing 🙂

    3. I myself am I directioner, and when I found out they were doing this campaign I was really happy proud 🙂

They also helped with Red Nose Day, a UK and Africa campaign to help poor kids and people with diseases in Africa get vaccines, and raised lots of money for it. They recorded a cover of the song “One Way or Another” and give all money earned from the song to charity. And when they made the music video, they made it themselves to save money also to give to charity. They also donated from their own money. With the charity, they also decided to go to Ghana to see how the money is used in person.

They’ve also done a lot of other charity works independently, but if I listed them all I would never end haha.

      Yup, big fan lol 🙂

    4. I’m not a big 1D fan, but I love that they’re doing this. They are so popular that this will make a difference. I’m glad that more famous young people are trying to be better role models. I am a huge fan of Jennifer Lawrence and Demi Lovato for this reason.

    5. I am a Directioner, and I am very proud that the boys are speaking about bullying and cyberbullying. It is a passion of mine to see an end to this problem of our generation. They showed some of the video at their concert and I think alot of people are touched by them taking a stand.

Love you 1D! Espicially Zayn and Harry!
