So excited! I met Zach maybe 5 or 6 years ago, he came and spoke at my camp about loose change to loosen chains, and I’ve been following him ever since! I’ve also been following Jarrid Wilson for about a year, both guys are wonderful and have really great things to say!

“Modesty Roundtables”? Is this really what we need? I read the “FYI if you’re a teenage girl” blog, and I mean no disrespect but it made me see once again the problems people have with Christian parents. Going through your sons facebook friends and removing girls you don’t think are posting appropriate pictures is only sheltering kids who are too old to be sheltered and placing unfair judgement on the girls. I might appreciate the guy’s perspective, but I’m not expecting to hear anything that’s new or that will change my mind or the way I choose to dress. But I’ll keep an open mind and see what the blog series holds.

Sorry for my negative outlook! Many modesty discussions on this website just end with nasty arguments. I am not against being modest at all! Perhaps I was too quick to judge πŸ˜‰ I guess we’ll see!

really? I thought it was inspiring that the mom cares about her son so much she wrote an article looking for a woman of character not sexual appeal.

I’m looking forward to hearing other opinions, for sure. Modesty isn’t a topic that’s addressed at my church or at my youth group, so I’ve kind of had to figure my own opinions out. Hey, maybe I’m wrong πŸ™‚

Hey Allison! I think you’ll really like the diversity of opinions that we’re going to have for these roundtable discussions. The topic of judgement is a big part of my contribution for this one, so I think we have that in common! Thanks for keeping an open mind- I look forward to seeing where these conversations take the PI community.

    Anti-slavery? Awesome
Modesty roundtable? Sounds like a lot of drama and judgment. As if we needed more division.
